Some random terms
- calmato
Calm. - fifth An interval of five diatonic degrees, counting the first and last degree.
- score The complete musical notation of a composition, especially for an ensemble, where the individual parts are lined up vertically.
- triplet Three notes of equal length that are to be performed in the duration of two notes of equal length.
- grunge rock Contemporary Seattle-based rock style characterized by harsh guitar chords; hybrid of punk rock and heavy metal.

Equal, the same. - fine
Literally, “end”. An indication of where a composition ends when there is a repeat. - tacet
Literally, “he is silent”. An indication that a performer is to be silent for some time. - moto
Motion, movement. - misterioso
Mysterious. - pantomime Theatrical genre in which an actor silently plays all the parts in a show while accompanied by singing.

“But”. - break In the flute or other wind instrument, the place between the lower register of the instrument and the higher. For example, the break on the flute is between C-sharp and D.
- tessitura
The most musically acceptable and comfortable range for a given singer or, less frequently, musical instrument. - con brio
With vivacity or spirit.
