Tune of the Day: Adagio by Benedetto Marcello

from Sonata in D minor

This slow Adagio is the first movement of Benedetto Marcello's Sonata No. 2 in D minor for recorder and basso continuo. It features a beautiful main melody in a typical Italian Baroque style.
