Tune of the Day: Com'è bello

from “Lucrezia Borgia”, transcribed for solo flute

The popular romanza “Com'è bello” (meaning “How lovely”) is part of the prologue of the 1833 opera Lucrezia Borgia by Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti. The present transcription for solo flute was published in Milan by Ricordi, probably not long after the opera premiered at La Scala theater.
